During the school year, we have many activities happening. This varies from the weekly Parent and Toddler group to Festivals.

Our Parent and Toddler group meets every Wednesday morning from 10am to 12pm at Galloway Hall. This is open to members of the public as well as families from our own school community. The Craft Group also meets at this time to share skills and make items which can be sold at our Festivals. For more information, please see the Under the Apple Tree Facebook Page or contact the School Office Tel 028 90428029.

Our Festivals are a great way for our community and the public to get into the festive mood! The festivals we celebrate are:

* Michaelmas

* St Martin's

* Candlemas

* Advent - we hold a lovely Crafts Fair at the beginning of December each year that is open to the general public

* Shrove Tuesday

* Easter - the school is open to the general public with food stalls, puppet shows and lots of crafts for adults and children

* May Day

* St Johns

For more information, please see our Festivals Section.

School Council

School council members are elected from Class 6 up to Class 11.

The council decide on the charities that the whole will support for the year and organize visitors for assemblies.

This year our charity is Barnardo's and the Council arranged for a worker from the charity to come and talk at an assembly.  The school then undertook the Egg Challenge and raised £280!
