Applications to the school are received after parent/parents have come for a walkthrough which happen once a week until the end of the academic year. A walkthrough is the opportunity for parents to come to the school, see what it is like and learn about what their child will learn here. It is a great opportunity for questions to be asked.

Once the application and any other necessary documents are submitted. The admissions procedure begins with the following:

  • Interview 0ne – Parents only - Upon receipt of the application form and school reports for the past three years, (if applicable), the relevant class teacher will contact the parents by telephone to arrange an interview.
  • Interview Two – is for parents and child/ren with the relevant teacher/s – this may be arranged during the first interview.

Your application will then be passed onto the College of Teachers Meeting where the decision will be made. Occasionally, if there is a lack of clarity about a child’s particular educational needs, the teachers may need to meet with parents and child/children again. Parents will be contacted after the College meeting on their decision. It is the School’s policy to review all new pupils’ position in the School at the end of their first term.

  • Interview Three – this final interview is between both parents and the School Bursar to discuss the family’s financial and practical contributions to the School. A refundable deposit of £300 is payable before your child/ren start their first day in school.

Please feel free to contact us or call us to arrange a walkthrough or for more information.
